Traveling: Traveling in Madagascar is different than in Europe: there are no motorways and most roads are in very bad state. In Madagascar distances between towns or cities are not usually estimated in kilometers but well in time : hours or even days. There are two ways to travel : adventure or confort. The only way to travel between major cities is by plane. Only TSARADIA (Air Madagascar) insures national flights. Other ways to travel are : taxi-brousse (the cheapest) or private automobiles or rented 4x4 with driver.
